How to apply for pan card online

 To apply for a PAN card online in India, you can follow these steps:

1. Choose the Portal:

You can apply through either the NSDL e-Gov) or UTIITSL portal.

2. Fill Out the Application Form:

1.     Visit the Portal: Go to the NSDL or UTIITSL website.

2.     Select Application Type: Choose "New PAN - Indian Citizen (Form 49A)".

3.     Fill in Personal Details: Enter your name, date of birth, mobile number, and email ID.

4.     Submit Documents: Upload the required documents (proof of identity, address, and date of birth).

5.     Choose the Mode of Submission: You can opt for e-KYC, e-Sign, or physical submission.

3. Pay the Fee:

·       The fee for a PAN card with an Indian communication address is Rs. 91 (excluding GST).

·       For a foreign communication address, the fee is Rs. 862 (excluding GST).

4. Verify and Submit:

1.     Verify Details: Double-check all the information you have entered.

2.     Submit the Application: Complete the submission process.

3.     Receive Acknowledgement: You will receive an acknowledgement number to track your application.

5. Receive Your PAN Card:

·       e-PAN: If you opted for e-KYC and e-Sign, you can download your e-PAN immediately.

·       Physical PAN: The physical PAN card will be sent to your address within 15 days.
